We know that department budgets sometimes limit your ability to purchase our most sophisticated products... which is why we have redesigned the Stalker BASIC. Starting with original digital technology from the ATR, and advanced with today’s latest technology, the Stalker BASIC combines the most popular features and legendary Stalker performance, all at a very affordable price.

Three Window Backlit LCD Display
The three window display features a dedicated display for “Locked” targets. This provides the ability to lock a target, while continuing to track its speed in the main target window. A four character alpha-numeric display area shows operational settings, modes, charging indicator and any error messages. The keypad is backlit for easy nighttime operation.

Cordless Battery & Charging System
The battery and charging system provide the most flexible power and charging operation of any police radar. A Ni-MH battery pack slides into the handle to provide up to 8 hours of triggered operation between charges. A spare battery pack can be popped into the handle in just seconds. The batteries can be charged both in and out of the radar gun body. The included cigar plug power cord can power the radar gun from a 12-volt accessory outlet, while simultaneously charging the battery. A stand alone Smart Charging platform is also available to charge the battery pack from an AC outlet with both trickle and rapid charge settings. There is also an AC adaptor that can both charge the batteries and power the BASIC while plugged into an AC outlet.

The Stalker Basic is the preferred hand-held unit for motorcycle patrol units across the nation. Utilizing the Stalker Basic shock mount, the unit attaches safely and securely to the motorcycle.
