Automatic Same Lane Operation
The operator does not need to manually tell the Stalker DSR if same lane traffic is going faster or slower than the patrol vehicle. This makes same lane operation as simple and accurate as conventional moving mode operation.
A Giant Leap in the Effectiveness of Stationary Operation
The Direction Sensing ability of the Stalker DSR allows the operator to select a specific direction of traffic to monitor. The DSR can measure closing targets while automatically ignoring vehicles that are going away - even if a target moving away is closer than a distant closing target. The DSR opens up whole new areas that can be worked effectively with stationary operation.
Provides Voice Verification of the Location, Radar Mode, and Direction
Whenever a target is locked, the Stalker DSR police radar audibly tells the operator WHICH antenna was used (front or rear), what MODE the radar is operating in (moving or stationary), and the DIRECTION (opposite or same direction) the vehicle was traveling. This added step assists the operator in ensuring accuracy every time.
True Doppler Audio
The audio tone from conventional radars will vary in pitch when the patrol car's speed changes. The audio in the DSR is compensated for patrol speed, so the pitch always is directly related to the actual target speed. This allows the operator to know target speeds just by hearing the pitch, eliminating the need to constantly watch the display.

View the Strongest and Fastest Targets Simultaneously
 By displaying both strongest and fastest targets simultaneously, the Stalker DSR can monitor faster vehicles passing larger vehicles and display the speed of both targets simultaneously. The Stalker DSR utilizes three colors (red, amber, and green) to differentiate between the strongest, fastest, and patrol speeds.
Small Display / Counting Unit
The compact display and counting unit is small enough to be mounted almost anywhere. If an even smaller unit is desired, the display / counting unit can be separated and then just the display can be mounted on the dash.
 Waterproof Ka Band Antennas
The Stalker DSR includes two O-ring sealed, ultra-high frequency, Ka band antennas. These compact, completely waterproof antennas utilize locking, waterproof connectors and can be exterior mounted with no reliability concerns.
