STATS
The Stalker Acceleration Testing System (STATS) is the combination

How Does It Work?
Think
of the Stalker ATS radar gun as the speed sensor and the
computer as the recorder. The ATS gun measures the speed
of the vehicle (or object) at precise intervals, and then
sends those speed samples to the computer. The Stalker ATS
software program saves the speed data, assigns time information,
and then calculates distance and acceleration rates for
each data sample. This data is then saved as a file on the
computer's hard drive. Since speed, time, distance and acceleration
are mathematically related, having any two of these measurements
means the other components can be derived with absolute
accuracy.
Powerful and Easy
to Use Software
The Stalker ATS for Windows software is design to work on
Windows operating systems from Win95 to XP (a version for
Windows 3.11 is also available). The software allows you
to record a radar run and then display the information graphically
in any combination of speed / time / distance / acceleration.
The program also is able to calculate and display exact
measurements from the data. Nearly any possible measurement
can be quickly and easily defined and calculated using the
"Choose Statistics" window.

STATS is used by nearly every major magazine and vehicle manufacturer
for acceleration and braking tests. The performance measurements
you see published, are most likely performed with STATS. So,
you can be assured that your results can be compared directly
to most published figures.

 STATS
can be used over water, on snow, on straight roads, in your
car, or in your backyard. Just position the radar behind
(or ahead of) the test vehicle. You can even place the radar
inside the test vehicle, and take the speed readings from
the terrain. There is nothing to attach to the vehicle to
change its aerodynamics or weight.
A Total Testing Solution
STATS is very different from any other radar testing system.
Thanks to the Stalker ATS software's sophisticated extrapolation
and interpolation capability, the data runs can begin at
or end at "zero speed." This gives STATS the ability
to show measurements like 0-60 MPH, breaking distances,
and actual 1/4 mile results with 1/100th second accuracy!
